We are looking for you to join our client, a medium-sized company in the automotive supply industry based in Schwarzenberg, as an IT Administrator (m/f/d) under a temporary employment contract with the option of a permanent role.

• You will be responsible for the independent setup, regular maintenance and ongoing updating of all servers, computers and application software used within the company
• You will also be responsible for securing the network against external attacks, managing access rights and carrying out regular data backups
• furthermore, you will act as the first point of contact for users in the event of technical faults and provide reliable support to colleagues in day-to-day IT operations
• Adapting hardware and software to operational requirements as needed, as well as integrating new IT components, is also part of your varied role
• As part of your role, you will support the team by installing updates, patches and preventive maintenance measures to ensure IT security
• Furthermore, you will support the administration of the entire system environment by creating, modifying and managing user accounts, roles and individual access rights
• Finally, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring of system performance and the further development of the existing IT infrastructure in line with current technological standards

• You have successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d), an IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d) or an IT business administrator (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ solid professional experience in IT administration and in managing network infrastructures and server environments
• Your sound knowledge of managing Windows servers, network systems, Active Directory and data backup solutions are key strengths in your day-to-day work
• You have native-level proficiency in spoken and written German, as well as very good English skills for day-to-day communication
• Furthermore, you demonstrate a high degree of willingness to work shifts, initiative and a consistently structured and solution-oriented approach to your work
• Finally, you are an excellent team player and stand out for your strong service-oriented approach in direct contact with customers
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
