- You ensure the stable, secure and SLA-compliant operation of production applications, operating platforms and infrastructure components in cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments
- You plan and carry out maintenance tasks, deployments, releases, updates and patches for the systems under your care
- Monitoring the system landscape, as well as analysing and resolving faults and operational risks, form part of your remit, whilst ensuring these are prevented in the long term
- You will set up and continuously develop monitoring, logging and alerting solutions, including the definition and evaluation of relevant operational KPIs
- You will work closely with IT infrastructure, network, IT security, application managers within the Elia Group and external service providers, and support the further development of a standardised operations model
Requirements
- You have a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or have completed a vocational qualification, for example as an IT specialist (m/f/d)
- You have several years’ in-depth experience in the planning, operation and further development of client-server applications in Windows environments
- Within ITIL-based service management, you are particularly well-versed in change and incident management
- You have knowledge of relational database systems, time-series data, REST APIs, messaging and event streaming, as well as familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, PRTG, Grafana and Prometheus are all part of your profile
- Your understanding of IT security concepts and best practices complements your technical knowledge
- You possess very good written and spoken German and English at C1 level
- To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
