• In this role, you will receive end-of-life equipment and assist with stock-taking
• You will be responsible for the certified and secure deletion of sensitive data from hard drives
• You will carry out visual and technical checks on the devices to identify any faults
• You will handle repairs and upgrades as part of the refurbishment process: you will replace faulty parts such as displays and batteries, clean the hardware and upgrade RAM or SSDs
• You will reinstall operating systems such as Windows or Linux and carry out final functional tests before the devices are put up for resale

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an IT systems integration specialist (m/f/d), an IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d) or an information electronics technician (m/f/d)
• However, career changers (m/f/d) with demonstrable practical experience are also welcome
• You have a good knowledge of PC, laptop, server and peripheral hardware, including their design, components and troubleshooting
• You have practical experience in installing and removing components such as displays, batteries, RAM, SSDs/HDDs and keyboards
• You are confident using Windows and have a basic knowledge of Linux (installation, drivers, imaging)
• An understanding of data protection and data security (GDPR) is second nature to you
• Good written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit, are part of your profile
• A basic knowledge of English for technical documentation would be an advantage
• You are also willing to carry out warehouse and workshop tasks and are physically fit, for example when lifting equipment weighing approx. 15–25 kg
• You work meticulously, in a structured manner and reliably, particularly when it comes to documentation and quality control
• Technical understanding and a solution-oriented approach are your hallmarks when diagnosing faults
