Junior Civil Engineering Site Manager (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

You’ll support the site management team in the planning, organisation and execution of civil engineering projects; you’ll play an active role in coordinating and supervising construction processes on site; you’ll take on tasks relating to schedule, cost and quality control; and you’ll be involved in quantity surveyingand final accounts; you liaise with clients, authorities, utility providers and subcontractors; you support the site management team in the scheduling of personnel, equipment and materials; you assist in the implementation of earthworks, sewerage works, road construction and utility installation projects. You will apply the fundamentals of surveying to monitor construction work and ensure compliance with VOB/B and VOB/C specifications throughout the construction process. Over time, you will gradually take on your own areas of responsibility on site

What we are looking for

• You will have a degree in civil engineering specialising in civil engineering or have passed the examination to become a construction technician (m/f/d)
• Initial practical experience in civil engineering gained through work placements or a working student role would be an advantage
• You are characterised by your own initiative, assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
• A strong willingness to learn, combined with a structured and reliable approach to work, rounds off your profile
• Proficiency in MS Office is essential; knowledge of MS Project, RIB iTWO or AutoCAD is desirable
• You hold a Class B driving licence
• You have a basic understanding of earthworks, sewer construction, road construction and pipeline construction
• You have a basic understanding of surveying
• You possess a basic knowledge of VOB/B and VOB/C, as well as typical construction processes
