• You will be responsible for creating CNC laser programmes for sheet metal and metal cutting
• You will also be responsible for operating and setting up laser cutting systems (e.g. Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada - depending on the equipment). Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada - depending on the equipment) in your hand
• you will also ensure the optimisation of cutting parameters with regard to quality, speed and material utilisation
• you will also take care of the creation and maintenance of nesting plans for efficient material usage
• you will also be responsible for reading and editing CAD data (DXF, STEP, DWG)
• you will be responsible for monitoring the cutting process and ensuring dimensional accuracy
• you will also carry out minor maintenance and set-up work on the laser system
• last but not least, you will also be responsible for documenting the production data and providing feedback to work preparation/design

• You have completed training as a construction mechanic (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), machinist (m/f/d), cutting machine operator (m/f/d), metal worker (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• In addition, you have already gained experience in programming laser cutting systems (2D laser)
• You are confident in using CAD software and programming tools for laser systems
• In addition, you have knowledge of sheet metal processing, material properties and cutting technologies
• you are able to read technical drawings at a high level
• you have a good command of spoken German and a valid work permit
• you are willing to work shifts
• you are characterised by an independent, structured and quality-oriented way of working as well as the ability to work in a team and a sense of responsibility
