Lathe operator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will operate and set up both conventional and CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines
• You will manufacture and machine metal parts with precision according to technical drawings
• You will read and interpret drawings and production documents to ensure the correct manufacture of workpieces
• You will carry out quality control checks on the manufactured parts using standard measuring and testing equipment
• You will check dimensional accuracy and surface quality and document the results
• Maintenance and care of the machines are also part of your responsibilities
• You will set tools and machine parameters according to the machining step and optimise them where necessary
• You will independently identify and rectify minor faults on the machines
• During production, you will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

What we are looking for

• a completed apprenticeship as a machining mechanic (m/f/d), Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) or Precision Mechanic (m/f/d); alternatively, you have several years’ professional experience as a turner/miller
• you are experienced in operating conventional and CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines
• you can confidently read technical drawings and implement specifications precisely
• you are familiar with the use of measuring and testing equipment for quality control
• You are known for your careful and precise work
• You have manual dexterity and technical understanding
• You should have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
