- You will be responsible for independently planning and implementing modern lean methods and sustainable continuous improvement processes across our client’s entire production area
- You will also be responsible for the detailed analysis of existing production processes and the targeted identification of potential for optimisation within the manufacturing workflow
- Furthermore, you will oversee challenging improvement projects from initial conception through to successful practical implementation in the operational plant environment
- Your responsibilities will also include the regular evaluation of relevant key performance indicators to systematically monitor all efficiency and quality assurance measures that have been introduced
- As part of your role, you will support the preparation, facilitation and follow-up of practical Kaizen and 5S workshops with the teams
- Furthermore, you will support managers and staff on site through active coaching to ensure the sustainable embedding of a modern lean culture
- Finally, you will be responsible for overseeing effective cost-cutting measures whilst continuously taking into account all the plant’s internal guidelines and process specifications
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d), Production Engineering (m/f/d) or Industrial Engineering (m/f/d)
- You also have several years’ solid professional experience in Lean Management or Operational Excellence within a manufacturing company
- Your sound knowledge of common Lean methods such as Kaizen, CIP, 5S, SMED, TPM and value stream mapping
- You have excellent command of German at native speaker level, as well as a good command of English to communicate effectively on the shop floor
- Furthermore, you possess excellent communication skills and the ability to drive change, enabling you to collaborate effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organisation
- Finally, you have a pragmatic approach, demonstrate a hands-on mentality and always work in a goal-oriented and independent manner
- To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
