• You will organise long-haul and local transport, both nationally and internationally
• You will draw up driver rota plans independently, coordinating the majority of these for our own fleet
• You will enter and process orders in the system and monitor the on-time delivery of all consignments
• You will arrange return loads on your own initiative, thereby contributing to the optimal utilisation of the fleet
• You will coordinate routes directly with our customers and continuously optimise transport processes
• You will keep a close eye on costs within the dispatching department at all times and manage them reliably

• You have completed a training programme as a freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• Solid prior knowledge of in-house transport fleets is essential, as the majority of the role involves coordinating the in-house fleet, including staff planning
• You have experience in lorry dispatching and are thoroughly familiar with the processes
• You have a good command of English – both spoken and written – and can express yourself confidently in an international environment
• Very good German language skills and a valid work permit are part of your profile
• Good IT skills and experience with standard industry systems are also an advantage
• You are a team player, committed, flexible and characterised by an independent, goal-oriented and structured approach to your work
