For our client, we are looking for a Direct Placement Logistics Clerk (m/f/d)
Job description
- You will be responsible for the comprehensive checking of all incoming freight documents and delivery notes and ensure the complete documentation of all goods movements within the internal logistics systems
- In addition, you will be responsible for the precise initial entry of all delivery notes in the IT system and ensure that all data is provided correctly for subsequent processes
- Furthermore, you will be responsible for instructing incoming lorry drivers (m/f/d) on local conditions on site, that all data is provided correctly for the subsequent processes
- In addition, you will be responsible for briefing the arriving lorry drivers (m/f/d) on the local conditions on site and coordinating the smooth allocation to the respective unloading gates
- The friendly greeting and formal registration of visitors:

- As part of your job, you will support the continuous monitoring of data transmissions and ensure compliance with all internal quality standards in day-to-day operations through your careful working methods
- Finally, you will be responsible for communication with the drivers and internal departments and thus make a significant contribution to efficient processes within the entire incoming goods logistics
Requirements
- You have successfully completed training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management clerk (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have sound professional experience in the area of incoming goods or logistics management, which gives you an in-depth understanding of all operational processes
- Your confident knowledge of common MS Office applications and ideally some practical experience in working with SAP characterise your daily work
- Your written and spoken German at native speaker level and a good basic knowledge of English are essential for communicating with the international drivers:
- Furthermore, you have a high degree of time flexibility and a strong ability to work in a team in order to always keep a cool head even in stressful situations
