• You will be responsible for the global organisation and independent coordination of all import and export processes in accordance with relevant guidelines
• to ensure the complete order processing, including quotations, invoices, delivery notes, packing lists and shipping documents
• You will also be responsible for the correct preparation of customs documents and export declarations in accordance with international trade regulations
• Professional communication with customers, suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth operations
• In addition, you will be responsible for scheduling, complaints management and the recording of goods received and dispatched, working closely with the warehouse
• You will support the Controlling department by carrying out cost comparisons and calculations to ensure efficient, cost-effective processes
• The continuous optimisation of the supply chain to ensure a high standard of service rounds off your role

• a completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g. as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), Wholesale and Foreign Trade Clerk (m/f/d), Industrial Clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• you have already gained several years’ experience in import and export processing and have a sound knowledge of customs tariffs, proofs of origin and international trade regulations
• You are fully proficient in using inventory management systems, MS Office and customs software (e.g. Dakosy, Atlas) is second nature to you
• Business-fluent German and a good command of English for day-to-day correspondence, as well as a valid work permit, are part of your profile
• You possess a high standard of quality awareness, attention to detail and strong self-organisation, coupled with flexibility in terms of both time and subject matter
• You are characterised by your customer- and service-oriented, conscientious and team-oriented personality, combined with strong communication skills and analytical thinking
