• You will plan and schedule incoming and outgoing goods
• You will arrange freight and organise the logistics for raw materials and finished goods
• You will also process freight and forwarding enquiries, including price negotiations
• You will calculate freight and forwarding rates
• You will prepare dispatch and export documents
• Furthermore, you will handle all customs matters (import/export)
• You will act as the liaison between the warehouse, forklift operators, freight forwarders/carriers and the sales department
• You will manage the entire planning department independently and on your own initiative

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally specialising in freight forwarding, logistics or foreign trade, e.g. as a freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d), Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d), Warehouse Operations Specialist (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• your several years’ professional experience in logistics planning, ideally including customs clearance, will be an advantage
• You are confident in dealing with customs regulations and export documentation
• Good written and spoken English, as well as a good command of German and a valid work permit, are part of your profile
• You are characterised by your negotiating skills and assertiveness
• A high level of resilience and a ‘thick skin’ in your day-to-day dealings with hauliers and drivers round off your profile
