• You will be responsible for the technical and managerial supervision of around 20 to 25 staff members in your assigned logistics department
• You will also be responsible for the efficient management of all logistics processes based on defined key performance indicators and budgets
• Furthermore, you will maintain a trusting working relationship with your line manager and all adjacent departments within the supply chain
• Continuous process optimisation in intralogistics is also part of your daily tasks in the modern logistics centre
• As part of your role, you will actively support the initiation and successful implementation of cross-functional projects
• Furthermore, you will ensure consistent compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations throughout your working environment
• Finally, you will be responsible for the coordination and targeted deployment of additional temporary staff as required

• You have successfully completed further training to become a Certified Logistics Master (m/f/d) or a Logistics Systems Specialist (m/f/d)
• In addition, a completed apprenticeship as a Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) or as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Specialist (m/f/d)
• Your several years’ professional experience in a comparable management role within operational logistics makes you ideally suited for this demanding role
• Your confident use of standard MS Office applications and in-depth knowledge of SAP WM are particular strengths of yours
• You have excellent command of German at native speaker level, as well as good English skills for day-to-day communication within an international team
• Finally, you impress with your empathetic personality, strong communication skills and full willingness to work flexibly in a branch operation that changes weekly
• To fulfil this responsible role, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
