• You monitor the work processes in production, applying the appropriate manufacturing processes and parameters
• You melt metal and keep it at the specified temperature
• You set up, operate and monitor production plant whilst it is in operation
• You set up casting moulds as well as stamping and forming dies, and change them as required
• You produce castings or rolled products on automated production lines
• You finish castings, for example by deburring and post-processing them in accordance with specifications
• You check the quality of the products, document the results and ensure that the required quality standards are met
• In the event of faults with the machinery, you analyse the cause and rectify faults independently

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), process mechanic (m/f/d) or foundry mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have already gained experience in setting up, operating and monitoring production plant
• Your profile includes a good command of spoken German and a valid work permit
• You are willing to work a three-shift rota
