• You will set up production presses and automatic punching machines independently and prepare them for production
• You will carry out quality control through in-process self-inspections by operators using the BABTEC system
• You will continuously optimise the punching processes whilst taking cost-effectiveness into account
• Maintenance and upkeep of the production machinery in the press shop are also part of your responsibilities
• You monitor the production process and intervene swiftly in the event of faults
• You set up and operate progressive dies professionally
• You will check the dimensions and quality of the parts produced and document the results
• You will work in accordance with the 5S principles and ensure your workplace is tidy and clean
• You will assist with the set-up and adjustment of production presses in the 125 to 500-tonne servo range
• You will plan individual work steps independently and systematically

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), toolmaker (m/f/d) or machining mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have experience in the manufacturing sector with progressive dies and setting up production presses
• You are familiar with setting up and adjusting production presses in the 125 to 500-tonne servo range
• You are open to new developments and innovations
• You are characterised by a structured, independent and meticulous approach to work in line with the 5S principles
• You are also willing to work a two-shift system
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
