Machine and plant operator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will operate and set up machines, for example on the waterjet cutting system or in the layout/ballistics department
• You will grind and polish hard ceramic components to a professional standard
• You’ll carry out in-process inspections and check the quality of the machined components
• You’ll document machine parameters and adjust them independently in the event of deviations
• You set up the equipment correctly based on drawings and your technical understanding
• You independently identify and rectify faults on the equipment
• Where required, you assist the maintenance team with work on the equipment in line with your skills

What we’re looking for

• Some initial experience in operating machinery would be an advantage
• We warmly welcome career changers (m/f/d)
• You have the technical understanding required to read plans and assess machine parameters
• Manual dexterity in grinding and polishing hard ceramic components is an advantage
• A basic knowledge of German and a valid work permit are an advantage
• A valid driving licence and your own car are essential
• You work carefully and conscientiously, particularly when carrying out and documenting tests
• Reliability and a sense of responsibility when handling plant and measuring equipment round off your profile
