• You set up machines and equipment for wire processing, reconfigure them when orders change and commission them
• You straighten wire and prepare it for further processing
• You operate the press in accordance with specifications, including double-pressing and using jaws
• You carry out tool changes independently and with care
• You will monitor ongoing production, thereby ensuring a smooth production process
• You will identify and rectify minor faults on machinery and equipment independently
• You regularly check the quality of the manufactured parts against specifications and drawings
• You report deviations and major faults to the relevant departments and document production data and any special circumstances
• You keep your workstation clean and comply with the applicable health and safety regulations
• You liaise closely with your colleagues to ensure that production runs efficiently and customer deadlines are met

• A completed apprenticeship in the metalworking sector, for example as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), a machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a process mechanic (m/f/d), is desirable
• You have sound knowledge and practical experience in wire processing
• You have experience in setting up and straightening wire
• You have experience in pressing, particularly in double pressing and using dies
• You have experience in setting up, changing over and starting up machines and plant, as well as in tool changes
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
• You are characterised by technical understanding and a meticulous approach to your work
