• You will monitor and operate the production plant for the processing of animal by-products
• You will carry out routine checks on the plant and process parameters
• When faults are reported, you will investigate the causes and rectify them promptly
• You will carry out maintenance, repair and servicing work on the machinery and plant
• You will regularly inspect wear parts and replace them as required
• You will set up the plant for the production run and start it up or shut it down
• You document any noticeable changes or faults in a traceable manner and pass this information on to the next shift

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You have already gained experience in this field
• You are able to read technical drawings and work to them
• You have a basic command of written and spoken German
• You are willing to work shifts
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• Reliability and the ability to work as part of a team, as well as a meticulous approach to your work, are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
