• You load workpieces into laser machines, position them and remove them
• You operate laser machines safely, start and monitor processes, and respond to any deviations
• You carry out quality control on the manufactured parts by means of visual inspections and dimensional checks in accordance with the inspection plan
• You handle measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres and gauges, and document the inspection results
• Following induction, you set up and configure machines, set parameters and zero points, and prepare clamping devices
• You record production data, report deviations and liaise with shift supervisors and the quality department
• You ensure order, cleanliness and health and safety at your workstation

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You have gained professional experience in machine operation or production, ideally in metalworking or laser technology
• You are proficient in using measuring equipment and have a basic understanding of reading technical drawings with regard to dimensions and tolerances
• You have a sound command of written and spoken German for documentation and coordination
• You are willing to work a three-shift system, rotating between early, late and night shifts
• You hold valid work permits
• You have a good technical understanding and a willingness to learn
• A strong focus on quality, combined with a meticulous and reliable approach to your work, rounds off your profile
