• You will assist with monitoring the plant to ensure production runs smoothly
• You will be responsible for adjusting the machine parameters
• You will carry out simple repairs to the plant, such as on the straighteningand measuring tools, or changing rollers
• You will also be responsible for monitoring the tension of the winder
• You will carry out reel changes using forklift trucks and feeding devices, as well as creating new conductor connections using a resistance welding machine, cold press welding machines or gas welding processes
• You will draw up reports in various areas, e.g. on stranding bearings, drawing-out speeds and lengths
• Quality checks regarding pitch lengths, diameters, lengths, braking forces in accordance with specifications, conductor resistances, as well as recording the results, round off your remit

• You have completed a technical or vocational apprenticeship, e.g. as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• you have several years’ professional experience in a manufacturing company operating on a shift basis
• you have already gained experience in operating forklift trucks
• you are characterised by a responsible and meticulous approach to your work
• the ability to work as part of a team, a quick grasp of tasks and a strong focus on health and safety are second nature to you
• A willingness to work in a rotating shift system rounds off your profile
• Valid work permits and a spoken knowledge of German are essential for employment
