• You will oversee the metalworking production process from material feeding through to final inspection
• You set up machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications and adjust them for the relevant order
• You carry out functional tests on the equipment before production begins
• You will control and monitor the ongoing production process and intervene in the event of deviations
• You will feed material into the machines and ensure a continuous supply to the equipment
• You check finished parts against dimensional and quality specifications and document the results
• You ensure the upkeep of the machines through maintenance, care and the rectification of simple faults
• You report any anomalies or faults and record them in the production records
• You comply with health and safety and quality standards at your workplace
