• In this role, you will operate and set up machinery, for example on the waterjet cutting system, during layout or in the ballistics department
• You will be responsible for grinding and polishing hard ceramic components
• You will carry out in-process inspections
• You will take care of the documentation and, where necessary, adjust the machine parameters independently in the event of deviations
• You will independently identify and rectify system faults
• You will assist with maintenance work on systems as appropriate
• You handle operating equipment (e.g. grinding wheels and running discs) and measuring instruments (e.g. callipers, probes, micrometres) in a professional manner
