• You will operate a CNC-controlled lathe and monitor the machining process as it runs
• You will correctly clamp stainless steel blanks with a diameter of up to 0.50 m into the machine
• After machining, you remove the finished components from the machine
• Using a calliper, you measure the components against the drawing to check dimensional accuracy
• Where necessary, you change the tools in the machine
• You use the electric pallet truck to transport pallets of material to the machine
• You keep your workstation clean and tidy and report any abnormalities with the machine or the components

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d)
• You have experience of working with CNC-controlled lathes
• You can read technical drawings and plans and work to them
• Knowledge of tool changing on the machine is second nature to you
• Experience in operating the ‘E-Ameise’ (industrial truck) is an advantage
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
