Machine setter (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will set up Citizen and Star vertical lathes for ongoing production
• You will load programmes using the Mitsubishi control system and adjust them as required
• You will produce pilot parts and check them for dimensional accuracy
• During ongoing operations, you will monitor the manufacturing process and take corrective action in the event of deviations
• You will independently rectify minor faults on the machines
• You will carry out quality checks on the manufactured parts and document the measurement results

What we are looking for

• a completed vocational qualification, e.g. as a machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a precision engineering mechanic

(m/f/d)

or you have a comparable qualification in the metalworking sector

• ideally, you have experience in setting up vertical turning lathes, preferably with Citizen or Star machines
• Knowledge of the Mitsubishi control system would be an advantage
• Your technical understanding and manual dexterity are strong points
• You work carefully and precisely, even during repetitive set-up and adjustment processes
• A spoken command of German and a valid work permit are part of your profile
• You are characterised by your reliability, ability to work in a team, and an independent and responsible approach to work
