• You will be responsible for setting up the fixtures, test equipment and tools
• You will also be responsible for reconfiguring your own press in preparation for the task at hand, as well as ensuring materials are available in the immediate vicinity
• You will also assist with setting up and retooling the presses for staff in the department, as well as intervening in the event of malfunctions
• Loading parts into the machine, clamping them in place, initiating the machining process, removing the parts, checking them and ensuring they are stored correctly are all part of your remit
• you resolve machine malfunctions with simple manual adjustments
• you also provide administrative support to the team lead in using relevant software (IFS, Windchill, Outlook, Microsoft Teams)
• You will retrieve work orders and report or confirm the quantities produced
• You are responsible for carrying out quality checks and for sorting out or reworking faulty parts
• Conducting the shift handover rounds off your role

• You have completed a technical apprenticeship, e.g. as an electronics technician (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• you have already gained experience in the tasks mentioned
• software skills are an advantage
• You have a fluent command of German and hold a valid work permit
• You are willing to work shifts
• You are characterised by an independent, meticulous and results-oriented approach to your work
