Machining mechanic turning technology (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will programme and set up computer-controlled CNC lathes independently
• You are confident and experienced in using the Heidenhain Manual Plus 620 control system
• You will set up tool-changing systems with turret-mounted tool holders
• You will independently finish rotationally symmetrical turned parts by polishing them
• You will monitor the manufacturing process and check the dimensional accuracy of the manufactured parts
• You will inspect workpieces for quality and document the inspection results
• Where necessary, you will optimise machining programmes and adjust cutting parameters
• You change tools and carry out minor maintenance work on the machine

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), metal fabricator (m/f/d), a machining technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• You have experience in operating computer-controlled lathes and, ideally, in hard machining
• You are also able to read technical drawings and work to them
• A basic knowledge of German, both spoken and written, is a key attribute
• You demonstrate a willingness to work in a three-shift system
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• The ability to work as part of a team, commitment, reliability, and a proactive and safe approach to work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
