• You set up your entire working environment, taking care of materials, fixtures, tools, CNC programmes and all production-related documentation
• You set up or reconfigure CNC-controlled lathes in accordance with drawings, inspection plans and work orders
• You assemble the necessary tools, prepare them, deploy them, position them correctly and manage the tool data and machining programmes
• You independently check cutting conditions, tool positions and dimensions and correct them where necessary
• Optimising machining processes, e.g. by adjusting tool sequences, programme steps or workpiece clamping, is also part of your responsibilities
• You will train new staff, explaining the machines, products and relevant work processes
• You carry out spot checks on production quality, make adjustments where necessary and carry out fine-tuning on the machines whilst they are in operation
• You are responsible for resolving machine faults by implementing appropriate measures
• Where required, you will create CNC programmes for new items, check them, approve them and archive them
• Simple maintenance and servicing tasks on the production machines round off your remit

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d), ideally specialising in turning, or hold a comparable technical qualification in the metalworking sector
• You already have experience in independently setting up, operating and setting up CNC lathes
• You are confident in reading and implementing technical drawings, inspection plans and work orders
• You are comfortable using standard measuring equipment and have a good understanding of quality assurance and process optimisation
• You are a team player, work conscientiously and are willing to work early, late and night shifts
• Valid work permits and a good command of spoken and written German are essential for employment
