• You will set up, configure and operate modern CNC-controlled lathes, milling machines and machining centres independently
• You will manufacture individual parts as well as small and large production runs from various materials with precision, in accordance with technical drawings
• You will select, prepare and change the appropriate tools and cutting materials, and monitor tool life
• You will carry out dimensional and surface inspections during the production process using standard measuring equipment, such as callipers, micrometres or 3D co-ordinate measuring machines
• You carry out simple maintenance and cleaning tasks on the machining centres whilst monitoring the cooling lubricants

• Ideally, you will have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d), precision engineering technician (m/f/d), CNC specialist or in a comparable metalworking trade, with
• initial or substantial professional experience in setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines is a key strength of yours
• with common CNC control systems, such as Siemens Sinumerik, Heidenhain or Fanuc, and are able to adapt programmes
• you have a good technical understanding and are completely confident in reading complex manufacturing drawings and work plans
• you are confident in using precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with tight tolerances and high surface finishes
• You have a good command of spoken German and hold valid work permits
• You are willing to work shifts
• You work independently, with a focus on quality and flexibility
