• You plan, organise and carry out transport operations for domestic and international shipments
• You also prepare and check freight documents, customs documents and delivery notes
• You will allocate vehicles, drivers and transport capacity
• You will also liaise with customers, freight forwarders, hauliers and authorities
• you prepare quotations and calculate transport and logistics costs
• this also involves monitoring delivery dates and tracking shipments
• you also handle complaints and investigate transport damage
• You will maintain and manage customer and order data in the ERP/freight forwarding system
• You will issue invoices and check freight costs
• Last but not least, you will carry out general administrative tasks as part of order processing

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the field of freight forwarding, logistics or transport planning is desirable
• you have a sound knowledge of freight forwarding and ERP systems, as well as standard MS Office applications
• knowledge of customs and freight law is an advantage
• You are distinguished by your business-fluent written and spoken German; knowledge of English is desirable
• A Class B driving licence and your own car are essential
• Organisational skills, drive and a solution-oriented approach to your work
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team round off your profile
