• You ensure an efficient and effective supply of materials for production and work closely with suppliers, scheduling and production control
• Preventive risk management is carried out to avoid material bottlenecks at an early stage
• You implement strategies to reduce inventory and improve inventory turnover
• You determine economic batch sizes and safety stocks together with production control, Sales and Operations Planning and Purchasing
• You trigger orders and delivery schedules, taking into account demand and replenishment times
• You develop delivery schedules independently or clarify delivery dates and call-offs in direct coordination with the supplier:
• Regularly process exception reports and carefully maintain material master data relevant to MRP
• Report on material stocks, ranges of coverage and relevant key figures in a manner appropriate to the addressee
• Maintain dialogue and correspondence with supplier:and customers on delivery dates, order confirmations and clarification cases
• you are responsible for monitoring order confirmations and incoming materials for open orders

• You have successfully completed a commercial or technical apprenticeship
• You have several years of professional experience in materials planning or a related field in an industrial environment
• You are characterised by sound knowledge of materials requirements planning and supply chain processes in discrete manufacturing
• You are confident in using planning tools in modern ERP systems (e.g. SAP ECC). SAP ECC)
• you have sound knowledge of procurement market analysis
• confident user skills in MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint, and SAP complete your profile
• Knowledge of purchasing law is an advantage for you
• Your portfolio includes business fluent German and good written and spoken English
• You have strong analytical skills and experience in carrying out material management analyses
• Entrepreneurial thinking, a structured and solution-oriented way of working and very good organisational and communication skills
