• You carry out heat treatment using vacuum furnace technology on tools, fixtures and machine components
• You operate and monitor the heat treatment systems independently
• You prepare heat treatment batches by sorting, loading and arranging the items to be treated
• After heat treatment, you remove the batches and prepare them for further processing or dispatch
• You test material properties using standard mechanical material testing methods, such as hardness testing
• You evaluate the test results and compare them with the specifications
• You document process and test data carefully and in a traceable manner
• You ensure compliance with process parameters as well as quality and health and safety requirements

• You have completed vocational training as a materials tester (m/f/d), heat treatment specialist (m/f/d) or heat treatment technician (m/f/d) in the metal sector
• You have experience or an understanding of working with heat treatment systems and vacuum furnace technology
• You have knowledge of mechanical materials testing, for example hardness testing
• We require you to be available for shift work, including weekend shifts
• You have a basic command of spoken German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit completes your profile
