• You will be responsible for testing the strength of welded and press-fit joints using testing machines to carry out controlled compression, tensile and torque tests
• You will also carry out hammer and chisel pop-out tests on resistance spot welds
• You will also be responsible for preparing micrographs by cutting, grinding, polishing and etching
• You will be responsible for ultrasonic testing
• Report writing rounds off your role

• a completed apprenticeship in a metalworking trade, e.g. as a metalworker (m/f/d), a design fitter (m/f/d), a machining fitter (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• you are fully confident in using cutting tools (angle grinders/plasma cutters)
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit
• You are characterised by perseverance, resilience, a sense of responsibility and a flexible, team-oriented approach to work
