• You will carry out incoming and outgoing goods inspections of optical components and parts
• Interim inspections and in-process quality control during the manufacture of optical components and parts will also form part of your duties
• Where required, you will carry out initial sample inspections
• You will also assist with stock management as required
• You will assist with the annual stock-takes
• You will also collect data and assist in the preparation of acceptance test reports (ATR) for optical products
• Where required, you will prepare materials for production orders
• The maintenance, application and continuous development of test plans also fall within your area of responsibility
• In addition, you will draw up fault reports (SF) and quality reports, and handle customer complaints

• You have completed a technical apprenticeship
• You have professional experience in the field of quality control
• You have a sound knowledge of technical optics
• Experience with manufacturing processes for optical components and knowledge of the DIN ISO 10110 standard are also part of your profile
• You are confident in using relevant measuring equipment and systems
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP is a given for you
• Your willingness to work a two-shift system rounds off your profile
