Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the metrological support of new products from the planning stage through to series production, in accordance with customer specifications and feasibility studies, as well as the digitisation of tools
• You will also develop metrological solutions using tactile and optical 3D measurement technology (measurement strategies and programmes) and analyse errors
• You will be responsible for carrying out initial sampling (EMPB) and measurement tasks
• Documenting and evaluating the metrological results also form part of your remit
• You will carry out production measurements for the body-in-white and press shop, whilst evaluating capability studies
• You will check drawings for errors and convert data into standard formats
• In addition, you will present data and measurement results using Excel files
• Your role is rounded off by communicating information to the press shop and body-in-white department in the event of deviations from specifications, as well as developing statistical measurement reports for trend analysis and production monitoring

What we’re looking for

You have completed a three-year specialist vocational training programme or hold a comparable qualification; you have knowledge of programming and operating 3D measurement technology; ideally, you have experience in the metalworking industry (automotive sector) and in the field of quality assurance within the automotive industry; you’re naturally proficient in using standard office software (e.g. MS Office) and ERP systems; written and spoken English skills are an advantage; a willingness to work multi-shift hours, weekend work, special shifts and overtime within the legal framework are a given. Your motivation and sense of responsibility are strong points in your favour. You are characterised by your communication skills, ability to work in a team, and a structured and organised approach to work.
