• You maintain, inspect and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic systems, ensuring they remain operational at all times
• You carry out systematic troubleshooting on plant and technical systems and rectify faults promptly
• You maintain control and automation technology, check it regularly and optimise it where appropriate
• You provide support on technical projects and modernisation programmes by assembling, connecting and commissioning components
• You work in a maritime environment, sometimes directly on board tugs, where you carry out maintenance and repair work
• You will carry out measurements and functional tests using suitable test equipment and document maintenance and repair work in a traceable manner
• In doing so, you will comply with the applicable health and safety regulations

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), an electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f/d) or an industrial mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have a good understanding of technical matters and are good with your hands
• You have experience in the maintenance and repair of technical equipment; this would be an advantage
• You are fit for sea service
• You have a basic knowledge of spoken German (minimum level); a valid work permit is required
• You demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work shifts
• You take a structured and meticulous approach to troubleshooting and fault rectification
