Fault and malfunction analysis on complex equipment comprising electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components. Determining the appropriate measures for rectifying faults and damage, taking economic considerations into account and drawing on experience, in consultation with the line manager, followed by implementation. Commissioning of repaired systems. Carrying out extensive repairs, extensions, modifications and the manufacture of spare parts, additional and auxiliary equipment in accordance with drawings, sketches, samples or instructions. Construction of new systems and extensions in accordance with specified plans. Dismantling and assembling electrical sub-assemblies. Carrying out maintenance and repair work on plant and equipment in accordance with existing maintenance schedules. Analysing and rectifying weaknesses, or assisting in the development of proposals to address such weaknesses. Proposing measures for cost-effective maintenance and repair, as well as for the adaptation of maintenance standards

Qualifications: Completed 3½-year apprenticeship, e.g. as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) Professional experience in the maintenance of complex plant and equipment A high degree of responsibility, initiative, accuracy and reliability; willingness to work shifts
