• You set up modern CNC laser cutting machines, configure them for the respective job and monitor the cutting process as it runs
• You select the appropriate cutting programmes based on the drawing and material, and adjust the parameters as required
• You prepare sheet metal and metal plates, load them into the machine and position them accurately
• You check the cutting quality by visual inspection and dimensional checks using measuring tools such as callipers and protractors, and document the results
• After cutting, you deburr and sort the parts and prepare them for further processing
• You clean and maintain the laser system regularly and carry out simple maintenance tasks
• You identify minor machine faults at an early stage and rectify them independently
• You read technical drawings confidently and implement the specifications correctly during production

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), a machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a metalworker (m/f/d)
• You have experience in metalworking
• You are familiar with operating CNC machines, ideally laser cutting systems
• You can read technical drawings confidently and have a good understanding of manufacturing processes
• You are confident in using measuring tools such as callipers and protractors
• Your profile includes a good command of spoken German and a valid work permit
• You are willing to work shifts
• You work reliably and meticulously and are a team player
