• You will operate and monitor furnaces used for melting precious metals
• Within the Conti-Guss division, you will support the production process and be available to work shifts
• You carry out sampling from the molten metal safely and carefully in accordance with instructions
• You load the furnaces with material, ensuring the correct batches and quantities are used
• You monitor smelting parameters such as temperature and the progress of the process, and record relevant values
• Where required, you transport materials and products within the premises using a pallet truck or forklift

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a

industrial mechanic (m/f/d),

metallurgical process mechanic

 (m/f/d), 

foundry mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification

• Ideally, you will have some initial experience of working with furnaces or melting plants
• You are also able to read technical drawings and work to them
• A basic knowledge of German, both spoken and written, is one of your strengths
• You demonstrate a willingness to work shifts
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• The ability to work as part of a team, commitment, reliability and a proactive and safe approach to work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
