Metalworker (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will machine metal components with precision according to technical drawings using milling machines, lathes, grinding machines or CNC machines
• You will operate the machines safely and efficiently to achieve perfect results
• You’ll carry out quality control on the manufactured components and document the results
• Assembly and finishing of metal parts are also part of your remit
• You’ll set up and reconfigure the machines in accordance with the production orders
• Through regular maintenance and careful upkeep, you keep machines and tools in perfect working order
• You consistently ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
• Working in a three-shift system, you’ll work with the team to ensure production runs smoothly round the clock
• You will prepare materials and workpieces for machining and check them for dimensional accuracy
• You will flexibly lend a hand wherever you are needed in the production process

What we are looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or precision mechanic (m/f/d)
• Ideally, you have experience of working with metalworking machines and CNC technology
• You must be willing to work shifts in a 3-shift system
• You are flexible and ready to pitch in wherever you are needed
• You have a sense of responsibility and take care when handling machinery and tools
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German; a valid work permit is required
• You have a good understanding of technical matters and a meticulous, structured approach to your work
• You can read technical drawings and put them into practice with confidence
• You are a team player and reliable in your day-to-day work
