Machining and precision machining of optical glass in the field of micro-optics (e.g. grinding, lapping, polishing), operating and monitoring modern production equipment and ensuring stable process flows, carrying out measurement and testing procedures to meet our high quality standards, documenting relevant production data and process parameters, contributing to the further development and optimisation of existing production processes, compliance with all health, safety and quality guidelines; assisting with maintenance and cleaning work on machinery and equipment; successfully completed apprenticeship as a precision optician, microtechnologist, glass apparatus maker or comparable technical qualification; professional experience as a member of staff in optical manufacturing, a specialist in precision machining, a CNC grinder, quality inspector, desirable; basic knowledge of glass processing or optical manufacturing would be an advantage; confident use of measuring equipment and an understanding of quality-related inspection processes; technical understanding; meticulous and precise working style; willingness to work a two-shift system (between 6 am and 10 pm), a team-oriented, reliable and responsible approach to work, German language skills at C1 level and a basic knowledge of English
