• You will be responsible for carrying out account allocation independently, verification and the accurate posting of all day-to-day business transactions, including all bank and cash receipts
• you will also be responsible for monitoring open items, the entire dunning process and maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable
• You will also oversee the preparatory work and provide expert support to ensure the timely preparation of all monthly and annual financial statements
• Your responsibilities will also include the timely preparation of all advance VAT returns and direct liaison with the relevant tax office
• As part of your role, you will support the regular preparation of reports and maintain close communication with tax advisers and auditors
• Furthermore, you will support the continuous optimisation of internal accounting processes and the ongoing maintenance of all key tax master data

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), a tax clerk (m/f/d) or an office management clerk (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ solid professional experience in financial accounting as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable
• You stand out thanks to your sound knowledge of common ERP systems and your absolute confidence and expertise in using MS Office
• You have native-level written and spoken German, as well as a good command of English, sufficient for business negotiations
• Furthermore, you demonstrate a high degree of reliability and a very structured, detail-oriented and independent approach to your work
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
