• You join metal parts to form sturdy components and assemblies using professional welding techniques
• Depending on the job, you use the MAG, MIG and TIG welding processes
• You prepare components by cleaning them, cutting them to size and securing them in place for the welding process
• You carry out your welding work precisely and to exact dimensions in accordance with technical drawings
• You align components to ensure a precise fit and tack them in place before applying the final welds
• You visually inspect welds for quality and dimensional accuracy and carry out rework where necessary
• You finish welds and workpieces, for example by deburring or grinding
• You set up your workstation and welding equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have experience in MAG, MIG and TIG welding
• You can read technical drawings and implement them accurately
• You are characterised by manual dexterity and a steady hand
• You have a good understanding of technical matters
• You work accurately and with concentration, even when carrying out repetitive tasks
• A basic knowledge of spoken German (minimum level) and a valid work permit round off your profile
