• You will look after the council’s properties and be responsible for maintaining the street lighting
• You will maintain the drinking water and wastewater systems and check them regularly to ensure they are in good working order
• You will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the machinery
• You will lend a hand with repair and maintenance work on public facilities and installations
• You will carry out landscaping work, such as mowing, trimming and maintaining public spaces, independently
• In winter, you’ll take part in winter maintenance operations, such as gritting and clearing roads and footpaths
• You’ll carry out minor electrical work and tests as part of your training
• You will carry out any necessary manual repairs to municipal buildings and facilities on your own initiative
• At municipal events, you will occasionally help with set-up and dismantling work, even at weekends

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an electrician (m/f/d) or a comparable three-year trade apprenticeship
• You hold a valid Class B driving licence
• You have a good command of written and spoken German, at least at B2 level
• You are willing to be available outside regular working hours
• Occasional weekend work at municipal events is no problem for you
• You are characterised by your ability to work independently and take the initiative
• You impress with your friendly manner, willingness to perform, reliability and ability to work as part of a team
• A valid work permit is required
