Job description

  • You will be responsible for implementing operational obsolescence management and for the targeted coordination of all relevant measures across our client’s entire product portfolio
  • You will also be responsible for the systematic execution of component risk assessments and the preparation of detailed life-cycle analyses for complex bills of materials
  • Furthermore, you will oversee the regular preparation of informative status reports, as well as the structured analysis and professional presentation of all project-relevant master data
  • The consistent application of defined processes in obsolescence management, in close collaboration with all relevant interfaces and specialist departments, is also part of your remit
  • As part of your role, you will support the precise analysis of specific client requirements and the subsequent development of bespoke OMplans for exciting projects
  • Finally, you will be responsible for actively participating in both internal and external project meetings, confidently representing all aspects of obsolescence management

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • You also have several years’ professional experience in obsolescence management, as well as in-depth industry knowledge in the field of military logistics
  • You are proficient in using MS Office, and initial experience with SAP or database applications would be an advantage
  • You have a high level of written and spoken German, as well as a good command of English, and are willing to travel occasionally
  • Furthermore, you possess strong teamwork skills, a structured approach to work, analytical thinking and a highly independent and proactive mindset
