• You will be responsible for providing comprehensive advice and support to managers and staff on all relevant issues relating to sustainable occupational health and safety and active accident prevention
• You will also be responsible for the professional preparation of risk assessments and the consistent monitoring of all resulting effective health and safety measures
• You will also oversee regular safety inspections of production facilities and office spaces to identify and prevent potential safety risks in the workplace at an early stage
• The thorough investigation of workplace accidents, including a detailed analysis of their causes and the development of preventive safety measures, is also part of your wide-ranging responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will support the ongoing maintenance and updating of operating instructions and safety-related documentation in accordance with internal guidelines
• Furthermore, you will support the delivery of clear safety briefings and targeted training programmes for all employees at the site
• Finally, you will be responsible for working closely with the company doctor, the works council, external authorities and the relevant employers’ liability insurance association

• You have successfully completed further training as an occupational safety specialist (m/f/d) as well as an apprenticeship as an industrial foreman (m/f/d) or chemical technician (m/f/d)
• You also have sound practical experience in the field of technical occupational safety and systematic risk assessment in industrial settings
• Your solid knowledge of standard MS Office applications and digital documentation systems sets you apart in your day-to-day work
• You have business-level proficiency in spoken and written German, as well as a good command of English for communication
• Furthermore, you demonstrate a high degree of assertiveness and excellent communication skills when dealing with all parties involved within the company
• Finally, you are highly committed and always work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, whilst taking a high degree of personal responsibility for safety
• To fulfil this responsible role, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
