• You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and ongoing development of the existing management system in the areas of environmental protection and health and safety at the site
• You will also be responsible for providing expert advice to managers and staff on all relevant legal issues relating to health and safety at work
• You will also oversee the systematic creation and updating of hazardous substances and legal registers in compliance with all statutory requirements and guidelines
• Your responsibilities will also include leading training sessions and the conceptual implementation of forward-looking projects in the field of environmental protection and occupational safety
• As part of your role, you will actively support the specialist operational departments in ensuring the legally compliant implementation of safety instructions relating to machinery and hazardous substances
• Furthermore, you will assist with the carrying out of risk assessments, safety inspections and the coordination of internal and external EHS audits within the company
• Finally, you will be responsible for the comprehensive documentation of workplace accidents and near-misses, and for developing effective preventive measures to avoid hazards in the long term

• You have successfully completed further training as an Occupational Safety Specialist (m/f/d) as well as technical vocational training as a Chemical Technician (m/f/d) or Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d)
• You also have sound professional experience in the field of environmental and occupational health and safety management, as well as in conceptual project management, whilst complying with all legal requirements
• You stand out thanks to your confident knowledge of the practical application of standard MS Office programmes, as well as initial experience in the field of lean management
• Your native-level command of spoken and written German, as well as a good command of English for day-to-day communication, ensure your success
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of reliability and a very meticulous, structured and goal-oriented approach to your work within the whole team
• Finally, you possess a high degree of assertiveness and enjoy providing collaborative advice to various hierarchical levels throughout the company
