• You will advise and support the management team and senior staff on all matters relating to occupational safety, health and environmental protection (HSE)
• You will carry out hazard assessments and risk analyses for workplaces and processes
• You will plan, organise and personally deliver safety briefings and training sessions
• You will monitor compliance with statutory regulations such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act (ArbSchG), DGUV regulations and the Industrial Safety Ordinance
• You draw up and maintain operating instructions, emergency plans and HSE documentation
• You regularly carry out site visits, audits and inspections and record the results
• You analyse accidents and near-misses and derive appropriate preventive measures from them
• As the point of contact for authorities, employers’ liability insurance associations and external inspection bodies, you liaise with them
• You will further develop the HSE management system and continuously improve it
• You will promote a sustainable safety culture throughout the company
• You will follow up on corrective actions and document their implementation

• You have completed training as an occupational safety specialist (in accordance with Section 7 of the Occupational Safety Act (ASiG)) or hold a comparable qualification, for example as an engineer (m/f/d) or technician (m/f/d) with relevant additional training
• Training or experience as a fire safety officer (m/f/d) would be an advantage
• You have already gained several years’ professional experience in the field of HSE or occupational safety
• You have experience in carrying out risk assessments and audits
• A sound knowledge of the relevant laws, standards and regulations, such as the ArbSchG, DGUV, ISO 45001 and, ideally, ISO 14001, is an asset
• You are naturally proficient in using MS Office; experience with HSE software is desirable
• You are characterised by strong communication skills, assertiveness and a high degree of personal responsibility
• A structured and solution-oriented approach to work rounds off your profile
