• You process all purchase requisitions for a purchasing division, regardless of whether they were generated systematically or manually in the system
• In SAP MM, you create purchase orders, maintain them and monitor their status
• You will enquire about delivery dates with suppliers, bring them forward if necessary and confirm them
• You will clearly communicate the confirmed dates to the relevant internal contacts
• You will request quotations from suppliers and prepare the offers for further decision-making
• You will resolve complaints with suppliers, follow them up and bring them to a close
• In the event of holidays or staff cover, you will take on the responsibilities of a purchasing department

you maintain regular contact, including in spoken and written English

• You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office clerk (m/f/d) or wholesale and foreign trade management clerk (m/f/d)
• You have already gained experience in purchasing and procurement, ideally in a manufacturing company
• You have very good knowledge of SAP MM/R3
• You are confident in using MS Excel and the MS Office suite and have a good working knowledge of them
• Your profile includes very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
• You work in a structured, meticulous and independent manner
• You are a strong communicator and enjoy working with suppliers and colleagues
