• In your role, you will ensure the procurement of metal and electronic components in accordance with schedule, quality, cost and customs requirements
• You will carry out global supplier enquiries and compare quotations, both for mass-produced parts and one-off project orders
• You will liaise with specialist departments and support them with regard to technical, scheduling and commercial requirements
• You will create and maintain master data for purchased items in the ERP system
• You will convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders, including deadline tracking, issuing reminders and handling complaints with suppliers
• You will contribute to projects relating to product group management, supplier development, value analysis and the implementation of procurement strategies

• You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship or equivalent training
• You have professional experience in purchasing within a manufacturing company
• You are experienced in using IT tools and have an affinity for them
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German
• You are resident in Germany and hold a valid work and residence permit for Germany
• You are characterised by strong interpersonal skills combined with a talent for negotiation
