Job description

You will support quality processes throughout the entire product life cycle and play an active role in improving operational quality standards and systems; you will carry out structured root cause analyses and evaluate fault patterns from a technical perspective in collaboration with the Development, Production and Service. You will also support the complaints and 8D processes with suppliers and customers, thereby helping to prevent recurring faults. You will draw up complaints reports and liaise with internal departments, suppliers, EMS service providers and customers. You will analyse quality indicators and derive measures for process optimisation from them. You will support production management in all quality assurance tasks and actively contribute to ensuring consistent quality standards during the planning, documentation and implementation of regular internal quality audits, and you assist with external audits and site visits. Furthermore, you help to design and deliver quality and ESD staff training. You evaluate technical drawings, test plans and quality documentation, and maintain these in the relevant systems. Requirements

  • You have at least three years’ professional experience in quality assurance, ideally in quality management in accordance with ISO 9001 or in process engineering within electronics manufacturing
  • You also possess knowledge and an understanding of electronic and mechanical manufacturing, assembly and testing processes such as SMD assembly, soldering, inspection, sheet metal working or machining
  • You have experience in handling supplier and customer complaint processes, as well as the 8D process
  • You are characterised by a structured, analytical approach to your work, particularly when carrying out root cause analyses and evaluating fault patterns
  • You enjoy working with colleagues in cross-functional teams and possess strong communication and facilitation skills
  • You have a hands-on approach and work independently and responsibly
