• You will check assembly orders and parts, and prepare materials, tools, gauges and jigs
• You will operate ultrasonic testing equipment following induction training
• You will assemble mechanical, optical and electronic parts and adjust them in accordance with drawings (e.g. bonding circuit boards and wiring individual components)
• Where required, you will carry out wiring in accordance with the plan and perform interim checks
• You will select measuring and testing equipment and use it in accordance with standard test procedures
• You will rectify faults, carry out rework and, where necessary, perform final tests
• You will document defects, suggest improvements and carry out maintenance and cleaning tasks

• You have completed a 2-year vocational training programme and have several years’ experience in your field of work
• You stand out thanks to your technical understanding of drawings, assembly procedures and simple cabling diagrams
• You are proficient in the use of measuring and testing equipment, as well as standardised testing procedures
• You are characterised by a meticulous approach to working with glass, lenses and optical components, and you are known for your dexterity
• you have some experience of working with magnifying glasses and microscopes
• you have a good command of German and hold a valid work permit
